Wayfair refund botched #1
My boy told me he could do a wayfair refund for me so I said cool. He told them the fuse wasn't working and that the bowl didn't arrive. So I made a video making it seem as so. They are now stating that it is there fault but in order to get a refund I must return the parcel (free of charge delivery provided by them). Is there any method other than FTID to get round it like disposing of it etc?

You could say after more troubleshooting, the fuse became an electrical hazard (what is the item in question) and that you had to dispose of the item due to safety concerns. That should help you bypass the "send it back" phase.
Got too many methods, I don't know which one to use today.

You should've DNA'd It.

At any rate, given they're expecting the return, you can use the disposed of the faulty Item method by saying It started smoking just before you were planning to return It. As such, It was disposed of for health & safety concerns.

Believe me I told him this. Idk why I let him do it . Do you think that they will believe this or say no refund?

And would it be best to call them to make clear my stress that it started smoking the whole house up or is email enough?

It depends on your manipulative skills.

Don't overdo It.

Only enough to justify the need to dispose of the Item.

The manager called me today and said nothing in a mixer would be harmful enough for you to throw it away and has asked for pictures or a letter from the waste disposal team. Would I be better off just returning this Parcel now?

Nonsense.

The manager Is not In a position to comment on the ramifications of a faulty electrical/mechanical product. Ask him/her to read this, with specific attention to the following details.
Quote:Never try to put out a fire or flames with
water: turn off the appliance and remove
the plug from the socket and smother the
flames with a fire blanket or other
appropriate cover
Then kindly accept an apology.

The operative word Is "or", hence you can provide either of the two requests.

Photoshop an Image and send It.

She said this is what Smeg themselves have told her. She also said that I can do either option but can not really guaranteed a refund without the product being returned. Is this legal if I send proof of disposal? or is there anyway round that response?
