Just go to amazon live chat and tell them you bought 2 items as a gift for your son. You can say its already been a day or 2 and you still are waiting for it.
They'll probably apologize that you're having this problem and then you should ask if they can check the status of your order and when will it come (since you already have the items) then see
where it takes you from there. If you're lucky you'll get the refund on the spot but if not they can launch an investigation which is normal. I personally believe DNA is a good first method because then you could say something like "Oh it was late or it was hidden somewhere"
and try a different method like defective item etc.

The shipping package have a factory seal with shipping information and there is another seal with a bar code and a number

In such a case, use the disposed of the faulty Item method or If It's small enough to box, do exactly that by substituting the Item weight with dry Ice.
