Perfume SE help #1
Hi all, I want to SE a perfume. I'm going to use the broken bottle method, and if they ask for pictures I'll say I already threw it away since it was dangerous to keep at home.

However, if they insist on pictures and deny a refund otherwise, I'm not sure what I will do then. Does anybody know how I could photoshop this maybe?

Why not Photoshop the Image(s)?

I think I could manage photoshopping it, but I need some insight first because I've never done that and have no idea how I am supposed to photoshop a broken bottle.
I've looked on this forums for some examples but haven't found any. Do you have any advice on what exactly I should photoshop? The perfume has a very unique bottle design, how would I go about making it appear broken?

Don't go overboard by giving the appearance as though It's smashed to bits - damage to that extent, Is unlikely to happen In transit.

A couple/few breaks will suffice.

I tried to give a couple/few breaks to a perfume bottle, but its glass was so tough, that the bottle smashed to pieces when I hit it. I sent a picture with the bottle like that and succesfully succeded with the refund!
Give it a try!

Find and buy a similar used empty bottle off the internet and smash that one.

A hard hit will most likely smash any bottle to pieces.

Well done with the refund.

Yes, indeed, but I tried for several minutes to break it with easier hits with no success. The thing is that some bottles would go full shattered or not at all Biggrin

Yes, It sometimes depends on the nature of the glass.

For safety purposes, some are manufactured to completely shatter. Smaller pieces of glass Is less likely to cause Injury when handled and disposed of. My earlier post Is based on the majority of perfumes.
