Although a PR Is only required for administration purposes to move forward with the claim, It's not relevant to what you've claimed - the Item was missing In the package Itself, hence It's not a theft-related Incident.

Under the above circumstances, ask them why a police report Is needed.

I submitted the police report, they have rang me and they were very nice about the whole situation I explained the PEB and they said it has to be an error on their end so they will not be investigating this any further. Now do I just email them the PR Ref Number?

Given they're not continuing with the Investigation, are you sure they still need the PR?

If they had evidence/reason to decline your claim, they wouldn't be wasting their time pursuing a PR.

If there's no reply within 2-3 days, get In touch and ask where your claim Is at.

If they haven't given you an estimated completion date that's a lot sooner than later, keep repeating It.

After a few emails regarding my police report not being complete, I sent another email this morning saying what’s happening? I feel like I’ve been left in the shade about the whole claim they have just sent me one back saying I’ll be receiving a full refund of £195 within 5 days.
