Ups disappearing ink a no go. #1
First time doing this but the nice ups lady and i spent 10 mins scanning the damn purple colored ink. I brought some legit drop offs and said my printer ran out of ink and it was the last page before ink ran out hence the purple color. She bought it but the fucking scanner didnt buy my bs. My phone can scan the label alright but their scanner wont scan. Would have been the perfect LIT as the print will vanish in exactly 55 mins.

Anyone tried this method and succeeded? Share your thoughts below

Why did you go with this method? I haven't tried it personally because of something like that.

Agreed.

It's a variation of the so-called FTID, which I obviously don't support. Anyway, the Incident below pertaining to unable to scan the consignment, could be due to the Ink prematurely fading (to some degree) at the time of their scan. You've mentioned It completely fades In just under an hour, which means a portion of It will disappear In half that time, hence their scanner did not Identify It.

I've been looking around for other SE forums (not as good as this one ofc), but I've seen quite a big 'splash' recently about this disappearing ink method. There have been posts by prominent members both on <snip> and <snip> that promote this method, telling exactly how todo it. I'm guessing loads of people have done it or are planning to try it in the upcoming week(s).

You've mentioned other boards which Is against our advertising policy. As such, I've removed It from your post.

That aside, as with the so-called FTID, the LIT contains many Inconsistencies, hence Is susceptible to failure more often than not. For Instance, a slight variation on the shipping label prior to the Ink fully disappearing may trigger the carrier to reprint It, thereby the SE will fail there and then. Moreover, It can be rather difficult to calculate the storage time to allow the Ink to vanish while the package Is In transit, and not still sitting at the depot.

Oops, sorry about that! Will keep that in mind next time!

And I won’t link/mention the source of this next thing, but I saw a post where someone failed a FTID on Amazon; his account was banned, and received a letter basically stating that they found his empty parcel & discovered the attempted FTID.

That’s not something I want for myself Smile

All good.

My post simply serves as a reminder of our advertising policy.

This Is a prime example of why I keep mentioning to not use the FTID garbage.

You're basically executing It, and hoping that those who're handling the shipment are brain-dead.
