SE Question #1
Hello,

I have a friend who recently ordered a gaming pc and he used affirm as payout. My friend lives in an apartment and they didn't knock or asked for a signature literally left the box outside not even on the front door. They marked it delivered and said it was a sign and the picture just shows the shipping label that's it. Would DNA work or how would it work since the payout was affirm? Thanks

Perfect, they've basically DNA'd themselves.

Quote:and the picture just shows the shipping label that's it
It doesn't change the fact that It was dumped at the front of the premises.

Go ahead with the DNA.

Will let my friend know to go with DNA. My friend contacted them is it safe to setup the PC and use it or wait till the whole refund has been done?

Although It cannot be remotely tracked, to be on the safe side, It's best to wait until the claim Is approved and the funds have cleared Into the account.

Yes, still move forward with the claim, but be sure your friend doesn't register on any online service that can potentially Identify the device.

By the way, who's the company?

Will do when you said dont register anything for the products can you elaborate. He just told me he turned it on and he did the basic setup when you first start a new pc or reformat and made him login to his microsoft account.

Basically to not use any online services that may potentially Identify the device Is In use.

For example, If It were Apple, refrain from registering and using ICloud, ITunes etc. The probability of the company Investigating Is slim, but It's best to play It safe until the funds have cleared Into the account.
