How can I see computer parts UK (cpu, motherboard, ram/memory) #1
I have an older pc built so I was thinking of switching CPUs but I want to purchase an AMD cpu and currently have an intel. Does Amazon or Currys check returns. I don't know how to go about gettiing a motherboard or ram. Apparently DNA with corsair works can anyone confirm?

It's not possible to say for sure. In terms of returns, Currys has been known to not check when using the wrong Item received method.

What you're planning Is a similar approach to the sealed box method. If there's no signs of tampering, It will not give them reason to check. Be sure there's not a variance In weight.

They will open an Investigation with the carrier who serviced your delivery, which Is part of protocol to move forward with the claim and nothing more.

When their tracking confirms the delivery, you have 5 days to get In contact with them claiming It didn't arrive.

I've been looking into your blog what would you say the best methods are to go about getting a motherboard and ram. I think ill go ahead with the curry's return without a cheap cpu of the same size.

In terms of the Ram, what's Its precise weight?

As for the motherboard, obviously the DNA or If Its packaging Is suitable, the sealed box method will be fine. You also have the option of the wrong Item received. It can be boxed, but I'd say It's too big, therefore signs of tampering will be noticed during the early stages of shipment.

I'm thinking of the missing Item method, but It depends on the weight.

How heavy Is the CPU?

How heavy Is the CPU?
The Ram is 91g in weight. The CPU box is quite heavy because it come with a cooler. but the CPU itself is 40-60g
Are there any good ways of using Amazon UK

The weight of both the Ram and the CPU on Its own, Is Ideal for the missing Item method.

Regarding the CPU, do you wish to SE the cooler as well?

I am in no way attempting to scare you off from the Currys/PCWorld but I have attempted 3 different SE's for them and everyone has gone bad one of them even had the DPD Driver come to my door at 10 pm off shift trying to prove he delivered the item to this address showing me all his paperwork and GPS Coordinates etc it was a shitty experience.

So basically just make sure you are full proof when it comes to curries I hear others do it just find but mine was 100% not haha.

Good luck from me anyways haha!

no I don't wish to SE the cooler just the CPU

Then the weight Is perfect for the missing Item method.

The only Issue Is, whether the CPU can be viewed externally without opening the box - which I believe It may be the case.
Please confirm It.

yes that is the case, and I'd have to break the seal to open the box most likely
