Discovered this myself whilst outside buying food from a vending machine. Put a £10 note in the machine and it somehow got stuck, called up the company and they offered to send a £10 gift voucher used for multiple stores. Pretty neat little method and I'm sure you can use it for higher amounts too, just nothing too absurd.

Method:

1. Click here

2. Once on the site, click on 'Make an enquiry' at the very top

3. Select ' Vending services' from the drop down menu

4. Enter your details

5. For your message, tell them you were attempting to buy food from one of their vending machines since you were hungry but your money got stuck and you're unable to retrieve it, make sure to mention an exact amount.

6. They may ask for a serial number / vending machine code, just tell them you were in a rush and didn't think of noting it down

7. They will offer to send you a gift voucher  as a reimbursement for the same amount you lost

Notes:

You're able to repeat this method but space it out, don't do it all in one day / week

Don't use the same story every time as they will soon realise, change it up a bit

Don't go above £50 when saying how much you lost

Make sure to check if one of their vending machines are in your area so the story is more believable or in case they ask you for the location of the machine
