So today i got the message that the package will arrive on Saturday and on Mail there is a notification: Your signature is necessary.

So i plan not to open the door hoping he leave the package on the hallway.

Or is it better to fake sign?

You've got nothing to lose by not answering the door and everything to gain- should the package be left unattended at your doorstep, so Initially, don't open the door.

If you see the driver leaving with your package, simply attend to It with a fake signature.

So to Update: I Called amazon today and they will do a carrier investigation and than she said if i dont hear anything the next three days i can call again and get my refund.

So should i wait 3 days or call eralier?

Wait for this 3 days and just call them after the 3 days and say nothing has changed

Does amazon „search“ or do anything to find the lost items? So in my case the device could be connected to the internet so possibly could get found.

That's why an Investigation Is opened- to try and establish the whereabouts of the package and check why It didn't make Its way to Its destination.

Unless you give them reason to pursue your claim after It was finalized, they won't take It any further. They've already searched during their Investigation.
