Was concerned as it shows the serial number and I wondered if I then use it , will it work or be bricked . I’ve never seen a serial number on non Amazon items before

If they decide to do so, the serial may (not necessarily will) be blacklisted from using certain online proprietary services, but the device Itself cannot be bricked from connecting to the net and other forms of communication.
