String theory - Cr3aTor - 09-15-2018
Some may say that string theory is a waste of time because not even until now researchers have a definitive answer. I think mistakes (if it's one) are the best way to learn and we should not hate the people that worked on this, since they have dedicated their lives for it.
What do you think about it? We should drop everything and rethink the way we have done this? Or we should dig more and stop when we have a conclusive answer?

I'm reading "Chaos: Making a new science" by James Gleick currently. String Theory is a strange theory, and so is Chaos Theory, but it can help the understanding of the universe. You could say learning a second language is a waste of time, but you may be the few in the future who know of it when something goes down and people need to know this language,

I haven't heard of that book, neither about Chaos Theory. I might have a look, thanks!
