Network adaptor not working - Byakuya Kuchiki - 09-12-2018

Hi guys,

I need some assistants with my network card. I just built my pc and my network card is not working. I tried to uninstall it through my device manager and now it's completely gone.

I got the netis wireless WF-2118.

I don't have the CD drive and I have tried installing the driver online, however their main website doesn't work for me so I don't know what to do anymore.

I did try a system restore but it keeps failing for some reason not entirely sure why.

The wireless card has a green light so I know it's getting power and that is on

I have a couple of questions for you ? What windows are you using ? is it a desktop pc or an laptop?

The Netis WF2118 has a PCI Interface, so I'd say It's a desktop.

I assume you're referring to the manufacturer's website. What errors are you experiencing?

Wait for a response and assistance will be based on that.

Basic rule of thumb: hit it with a hammer until you have to go buy one that works =\

@Byakuya Kuchiki, what's your status?

Do you still require assistance?

wow hit it with an hammer is a little overkill. xD But I do agree with you. Just buy a new one.

It's still down,
I've tried everything including system restart which deleted windows and reinstalled it.

I have tried a system restore which constantly fails for some reason.
I've sent in to make sure the card is in properly

but still no avail. The card was read in hidden devices but would work so there was a connection before. I've installed the necessary driver aswell.

The power button lit up so I know the card getting power. But if a system restall didn't work I don't know what else to do

maybe the network card is damage. Maybe you should just buy a new one.
