Amazon Yellow Barcode - karoloydi - 09-11-2018
Does Amazon Add their own barcodes on products?
I bought a 4TB Samsung SSD and was planning to replace it with a 250GB SSD and say I got the wrong item.
The 4TB SSD has a yellow barcode on it.
I'm not sure if the 250GB SSD should have the yellow barcode on it as well?
I hope its not a tracking device.
I checked all the images that customers uploaded on amazon for reviews. None of the boxes have stickers on them
Also, I ordered some cable with it. The 250GB SSD is a 40g lighter in weight. Should I say that the cable was missing to make up the weight? It will be only 9g difference with the missing cable
But it might the return complicated. Its easy to click incorrect item and return it. If I have 2 seperate problems, I might have to speak with someone at Amazon.
Or I can say that they sent me 2 cables. This way the weight is going to be more accurate
I can see the box does not have accurate weight on it. It says 0.2kg. Do they record the exact weight anywhere?

Haha. Its so funny. I told them I received 2 cables instead of 1, to make up for the weight difference. I said, I m trying to return it, but there is no option for when you receive extra items. The rep said "Thank you for your honesty"
