How much can I SE on Amazon? - TheReaper - 09-07-2018
Was planning on doing a simple "I didn't receive the item" refund for a buddy who's never done any of this before, but the item he wants is $700ish dollars (GTX 1080TI, if that matters). Wondering if this would be easy to do, or if I would need to contact multiple reps?

The higher the cost of the Item, the greater the attention Amazon will generate toward the refund/replacement.
By no means Is It Impossible to SE, nor Is It an arduous task If you've formulated your SE accordingly. I've known users who've simply used the wrong Item received method, sent their old GPU and received a replacement. It's not possible to be definitive with the number of reps you'll deal with. Every SE Is based on It's merit, so best to take It as It comes.

Anything over 500 will typically require an investigation even when using a healthy amount so try staying under that and don't get greedy.

Some insight is that 1080 ti's have been pretty easy in Canada as i've gotten quite a few done without a hitch, the common DNA method works like a charm also as a sidenote when you phone the reps it's best to sound frantic and use something along the lines of (i'm freaking out this is the most i've ever spent buying something online and amazons the only place i'd trust with this) try to make the rep want to help you as much as possible by sounding scared and playing to their ego best of luck!
