Serial Numbers - Pumic - 09-02-2018

I'm a bit curious as to why some companies and products have much harder serial numbers to come by. For instance, a Nvidia 1080 TI is more difficult to get a serial number for than a Logitech G602. Why is this so?

In terms of serial numbers for specific Items, you can SE a seller from eBay and obtain It.

Simply say you wish to verify that the Item Is not stolen.

I was thinking the same thing, but a couple users who look like they know more than I do have told me it isn't that simple. I'm trying to understand for what circumstance would I not be able to get a serial from Ebay because as long as it's a real product, the serial will always be real as well. I understand some have figured out the algorithms for creating serial numbers to a specific product and obtain theirs that way. The only thing I could see getting in the way is finding a serial still under warranty.

Believe me, there will always be a seller who will hand over the serial number.

Alternatively, have a look via Google Images. A 30 second search, and I've found a serial to a HDD. Yes, It's hardly worthy of purchasing and out of warranty, but the point Is, It can be obtained.
