Hi!
I'm trying to SE a clothing company, I ordered a few items including shoes, shirts, and jeans.
The shoes are the most expensive, so I will try to tell them that the shoes were not in the box when it arrives.
But the problem is that I can see on the tracking page that the package was scanned, and I can see the weight of the package.
If I can see the weight of the package, I'm guessing they can too, so wouldn't they be able to say that I'm lying, and the shoes were in the box when it arrived?

What's the exact weight of the shoes? If they're extremely light and register a minimal difference In weight, you may get away with It.
Alternatively, tape the package with a length consistent with that of the shoes, take a photo and send It to them advising that's how you received It. This gives the Impression that the package was tampering with during consignment, hence the shoes were stolen.
