SEing an SSD Amazon - Wildthirsty - 08-24-2018

About a week ago I double dipped a pair of $90 gaming headphones using empty box method on an Amazon Prime account. My account is about 3-4 months old and have made about 7 expensive purchases (gaming PC parts) and I just ordered an SSD. Since I double dipped so recently is there a good chance I won't be able to SE the SSD? Is there is a good way to SE the SSD without looking too suspicious?

On the above grounds, It's not good practice to SE In close timing. Wait a few weeks, and perhaps make one or two very low-cost purchases during those weeks (thus help mask the SE). Given the SSD weighs next to nothing and will probably not register a notable weight on consignment, the empty box method Is appropriate.

Thanks for the reply, I've sort of worked on a story and such but for the fact that I received the item today (ordered yesterday) what is a good excuse to call a week or a two later? Would the "it was a gift but I hadn't opened it til the day of the birthday and needed to purchase at a local store and would like a refund" work?
