Question about SE'ing Amazon - bbBrandon - 08-23-2018

I've been SE'ing Amazon for almost 2 years now, worked every time using the never arrived method.
Now, someone else is doing it for me who is better at SE'ing than I am.

Anyways, I tried placing an order and it immediately cancels my order and sends me an email saying this:
Hello,

We have cancelled your recent Amazon.ca orders because we were unable to charge your credit c a r d.

We are unable to determine why your credit c a r d was declined. A charge can be declined for a variety of reasons, some of which may not be related to the validity of the credit c a r d. For this reason, we often try processing the charge again at a later time.

You may want to contact your c a r d issuer. Some issuers may place restrictions on electronic and Internet purchases.

The next time you place an order through the Shopping Cart, enter your new information in the payment section of our order form.

If you prefer to use 1-Click shopping, you can modify your settings for future 1-Click orders through the 1-Click Settings link in Your Account. Click "Your Account" on our website, then click "1-Click Settings." Sign in with your email address or mobile phone number and password. You will be able to change the options for any address in your address book, including the default credit c a r d for each entry.

You can also add a new c r e d it c a r d to your Amazon.ca account before you place an order. Click "Payment options" in "Your Account" and follow the instructions to add your credit c a r d.

Sincerely,

Did they block my c a r d? If they did, how do I get it unblocked? I tried using another c a r d with another account and it worked. (but that other c a r d is my moms) (she gave me permission)

it has been fla gged. start from scratch, never use this c ard again, never use the name that was associated with this c ard again or the a ccount.

There is not enough evidence to support this.
Check with your bank on why the card was rejected. If your card also does not work for daily use, it may have been flagged. Let us know with updates

I forgot to mention, it was a brand spankin' new account. I tried it using an existing account and it worked.

Edit: I'm sure it has to do with making an order with a brand new account, or just a bug. My c ard does work though. But if I SE Amazon to the point where they flag my c ard and possibly block my address, would they try to come after me?

Based on the following:
Quote:We have cancelled your recent Amazon.ca orders because we were unable to charge your credit c a r d
Quote:it was a brand spankin' new account.

Are you sure you've entered the CC details correctly? The most common forms of rejection, Is due to both the expiration date and CVV number.

Most likely, but when i typed it in, it had that little logo beside the box that said "VISA". I'll try removing and adding it again.

Do just that- remove the entire entry and add It again.

If the card Is valid, there's no reason It should be declined.
