IS HP PATCHED?? - Richboy300 - 08-17-2018

i think hp is patched because i have tried se'ing the hp omen 25'' monitor but now they are just saying that they cant do an advanced replacement (where you give them a vcc to hold $1 to you're acc when they send you the monitor) and that they are only able to setup a replacement. I have tried telling them that i am a graphic designer/video editor and i need this monitor for my work but that dident work. I tried telling them that i am upset with their service but they said the same thing. At this point i dont know what to do and i think they are patched now.

P.S: if anyone tried boxing hp, tell me how that is possible.

I wouldn't be surprised if their patched. They were relatively unsaturated, until someone leaked an ebook of how to then everyone just raped it and now it's saturated af and they've probably lost hundreds of thousands of dollars to it.

Yea, they cancelled my order (I did THE advanced RMA method and provided photos) and they called me up and emailed me telling they cancelled it saying that they no longer offer the 1$ hold method due to a ton of scammers/loss. It was for omen 27”

What's their process with the replacement?

The process with their replacement is them sending a box to your location so that you can box the defective monitor.

I believe that HP's default replacement is a ups trade where ups dude comes to your house, takes "broken monitor" and hands you your replacement.

The advantage to this Is, the new/replacement monitor "will" be delivered. The following Is on the grounds that HP do not cross-reference serials or other Identifiable Information against their Inventory.

Use the "wrong Item" method and purchase a significantly cheaper Item (example from eBay) that's stocked by HP. Give that to the driver. Essentially, you'll have one free monitor, and only be ex-amount of dollars out of pocket for the cost of the cheaper/wrong Item. Or provide an old monitor that you already own.
