Acronyms dealing with S/E - Lucidiant - 07-30-2018
Is there a thread that someone can link me to a list of acronyms dealing with social engineering, sometimes I'll be browsing a thread and I see some words that I don't really know what they mean. Such as DNA method? If someone could help out that'd be awesome! I tried searching but I couldn't find anything
RE: Acronyms dealing with S/E - DragonicRek - 07-30-2018
I've never heard of a DNA method. Possibly the blood method since our blood contains our DNA

I'm not too experienced in SE'ing but I have learnt a few of the acronyms here are the ones I can remember but if you don't understand another one you can pm and I'll try my best to understand them.- SN - Serial Number
- MN - Model Number
- PN - Part number
- VCC - Virtual Credit Card. Needed for advanced replacements.
- Drop - an address of a place that you do not own so that if the company your SE'ing tries to bill then you cant, as it's not your real address.
- Reship - Similar to a drop, however some companies (I think dell does this) checks the location of your address to see if it's a drop. As well a Reship simply received your parcel and ships it to another destination. Different reship services have different policies with bills ect.
- RMA - Return merch authorization. Meaning that they have decided to replace your item, in most senarios you will have to send it back first though.
- Advanced RMA or AR - The company will send the product out first then you send in your "broken" product. They will usually require a VCC and may bill so this is where you use a drop.
- POP - Proof of purchase e.g. an Amazon receipt
- Saturated method - pretty self explanatory. Just means that the method is probably well known and may have a lower success rate.
- Public or Private method - Public methods are normally methods that are very saturated and have a low success rate but are free. Private methods are usually paid for, however they aren't well known so will most likely have a higher success rate.
- Boxing - When a company asks you to send a product back you send them a empty box that looks tamperd with. If you are doing a item which has a noticeable weight you can use things to spoof it such as: dry ice, ice, sand, rice, pebbles, and any thing else you can think of, however dry ice and ice work better as they will have "disappeared" by the time it gets to the company.
- Double dip - after a successful SE you can use another excuse to get another one or a refund e.g. you say your package didn't arrive on amazon so you ask for another, then say it didn't arrive again and request a refund.
- Triple drip - Similar to a double dip but you do it an extra time.
- Return label - some companies, after approving your RMA will send you a prepaid return label, or just a non prepaid one. You stick this on your box with your "broken item" and then bring it to your post office.
- Amazon locker - Amazing lockers are places you can get your package delivered to, if its bought from Amazon. You then go to the location of the locker to retrieve your item. You can use them instead of a drop or reship. More info here
- Investigation - sometimes if your Amazon account isn't trusted, isn't that healthy, or your doing a particularly high value item. Then Amazon may start a investigation where they will try and find out where your package went missing. I am not entirely sure what you should do in these situation more experienced members like @mothered may have more advice.
Sorry theses arent in any particular order I just put them as I thought if you need any further explanation or any other acronyms feel free to pm me.

I certainly haven't done It myself, and I'm not aware of anyone who has.
Almost everything Is achievable In the art of human manipulation, but this would Involve some very careful planning and effort.

Yes I agree with you. I never doubted that it wasn't possible.
I was simply stating how bizarre it would be to 4x dip
