Company requesting Amazon PDF? - skrtja - 07-22-2018 Hi, I'm trying to SE Crest. I sent them a picture of the amazon invoice using @K4X3L1 's amazon generator. They are asking me to save it as a PDF so they can inspect the invoice to validate this. Anyone know how to get around this? I think they are trying to cross check the order number or maybe something else. You can't say you lost it since it's all digital. Perhaps it would be better if you restarted and tried a different method. I like to use the "I received it as a gift", because there's no way to verify POP RE: Company requesting Amazon PDF? - skrtja - 07-22-2018 (07-22-2018, 01:33 AM)GosuSang Wrote:(07-22-2018, 12:12 AM)skrtja Wrote: Hi, I'm trying to SE Crest. You think I could still claim a refund in the form of a card if I don't have original receipt? Or should I try to do it again but say I bought at Walmart and show a photoshopped Walmart receipt? Well, because you are saying that you purchased it from Amazon, there really is no way to say you don't have the original receipt since it's all digital. I'd try again and say it's a gift. You could try out the walmart method, but I'm not exactly sure if Crest cross-checks. Do just that and corrupt It. No doubt, they'll ask again and do the very same each time, but tell them you're using different types of software to save the file In PDF format. This will give the Impression that you're making every effort on your part to comply with their requests. Play the victim by saying It's working fine on your end, and you're becoming somewhat frustrated In trying to fulfill their request. The next step will be based on their response. It works on the same principle as the good old corrupted Image method. I've read (and personally experienced) successful outcomes more so than not. I'm sure you're aware of the online services used, but In the event you haven't, here's a couple of links. https://corrupt-a-file.net/ http://www.corruptmyfile.com/ RE: Company requesting Amazon PDF? - Vultra - 07-22-2018 Mothered seems he is leading you onto the correct track. gl |
