Xfinity Comcast Data Usage Scam - Syniquity - 07-21-2018
On some reading site's I've been using recently this notification has been popping up non-stop It says I've reached my data cap per month and is going to charge 10$ per every 50 gigs used but it's a terabyte package per month and there was a good 100 gigs of space left yet while i was offline and so was the rest of my family it filled up to 100% I don't stream much or host any sites so i'm wondering if anyone else is having these problems?
Just to clarify I've already checked if it was a scam popup but it appeared over a couple sites and I've scanned my PC thoroughly and have been using a VM for anything risky so does anyone have a slimier experience or idea what's going on?

The only entity who's aware of your monthly quota, Is your ISP and they will not display a message on a given website.
Please provide a screenshot of the notification and the websites/webpages In question.

You could setup an option in your router if it support it, to monitor your data usage.
