How to get free V-Bucks/ any in game currency (easy) - DragonicRek - 07-16-2018
Hello all, this is GosuSang, and I hope you enjoy my 4th tutorial on how to get free V Bucks or any in game currency in general.
With Fortnite exponentially growing in popularity, I have decided to share my method of getting free V-Bucks.
Also, thanks to @FunkyG , it has come to my attention that this method works for other games too. Such as League, Dota, just to name a few. Now, if you are going to try to SE the other companies, change the methodology accordingly.

Note:
This is for educational purposes only. I am not responsible for anything that happens to you otherwise. I may help you in the process of SE'ing V-Bucks, but responsibility will be on you - the social engineer- if anything is to happen
Step 1. Purchase the v-bucks. Preferably in the range of 25-50$, and preferably using a credit/debit card. As you get more greedy, it will get harder to SE. If you think you're well-skilled in SE, you can purchase 100$ of V-Bucks.
Step 2. Wait a day or so. (Try to spend the V-bucks so Epic Games won't be able to refund it easily)
Step 3. Email the Fortnite department of Epic Games (https://fortnitehelp.epicgames.com/customer/portal/emails/new) I couldn't find a direct phone number to the Fortnite department.
Step 4. In the email say something among the lines of
"Hello, this is ______ (name) and today I discovered that my _____ (child, if you said your age on the account is >20. Young relative, if you said your age was <20) had purchased ___(X$) of V-Bucks without my permission. I do understand that some fault is on me for letting my ____ (child/young relative) irresponsibly access the store. However the ____ (X$) means a lot to me, because it took hours of my minimum wage job to make that money. "
Here, you have two options. A or B
A. In the story, if you're saying that your child purchased the V-Bucks, say
"During rough financial times like these, my child likes to immerse himself/herself in his/her favorite game: Fortnite."
B. In the story, if you're saying that your young relative purchased the V-Bucks, say
"My ___ (young relative / niece/ cousin) loves the game so much, he/she bought the sale without thinking"
Now, end the story with
"The money means a lot to me, and I was wondering if a company like Epic Games could do anything to help me recover the money. I have learned my lessons and will make sure that my _____ (child, relative) won't have access to my payment options"
Now, obviously don't copy this word to word. Epic Games is going to patch it once they notice.
You - the social engineer- should be able to make your own stories.
Here are the key elements you need
1. Not you who purchased. You need to emphasize that you - the account owner- didn't purchase it
2. That money was hard to earn and means alot. I used the example of minimum wage to illustrate how important the money os. You can say that you're broke and that the money was from - let's say your deceased grandfather's will. That will for sure show how much that money means to you.
3. Talk about how the game, fortnite means alot to the child/ young relative. Praising them/ raising their egos is always a good thing to do when trying to SE.
4. Talk about how a might company like Epic Games should be able to help this issue. Something like inserting in the call "I hope that the company that made the terrific game, fornite, will be able to help me. " Same reasoning as point 3.
That's it!

each scenario is different and you - the social engineer- will have to be creative to SE the company.

Yup no problem. I cannot emphasize this enough. Do not rely 100% on this script. Patches will come and go.

I hope this isn't grave posting, but something to be wary of Fortnite is that sometimes they either take ages to respond or never respond to emails. So it'll be hard to get into touch with them.

Hmmm, with league isn't this sort of like a chargeback? I tried this with another game (wizard101) and after going through emails(sibling actually did purchase in game currency without my knowledge) and they gave the money back, but they put the account on a suspension until i could mail a check back to their headquarters lol.

I actually tried this with League.
They refund the payment and take back what you purchased.
If you happened to gift the RP, I'm not sure what'll happen.
