Any options? I was thinking order an amazon gc for hotels dot com and say it wouldn’t work but seems like they would be able to look and see it was used that week. Any other ideas? Need tomorrow lol

It's not that hard to make up a creative reason. For example, my first thought was "make an example of how the visit was very unpleasant and how you're disappointing with the hotel service" . For example, you can say you got food poisoning from the food, take pictures of your stool, and distort them to make it seem that you had diareaa or something.
You can call them afterwards and tell them about this bad experience.
Just emphasize the following things
You had a bad experience
You thought the hotel was going to be better
The hotel should be apologetic and be able to provide something in compensation. Like a coupon or maybe a discount.
And, the large majority of this should be on you the social engineer. Don't rely too much on a script as not all scenarios are the same

It’s as simple as checking out one night early, calling up Airbnb and saying you saw vermin (pics help) and had to leave.
Bam, instant-refund. Super easy. Just act wildly upset about it.
The downside is you’re stealing from the common man. Not a big corporation.
If that method doesn’t appeal to you, send yourself an Airbnb or hotel.com gift card through PayPal digital gifts and once you claim it say it never arrived. They will instantly refund you. I’ve done this dozens of times.
Gonna try the gc. I’m a scumbag but I have a rule not to se the common man lol. I’ve never bought a pp gc but there is a first time for everything!
Ok I checked out the digital gifts site. After I order do I contact customer service? Or file a pp chargeback? Wasn’t sure since it seems like it’s own website.

Good luck. Pp gc are crazy easy to get refunded. Just make sure you send it to a “friend” and that when you contact them you make note of how upset you are that your “friend” didn’t receive it.

Gosu is correct. My sister and I used the same method because, we stayed in a hotel and, we got a free visit back to the hotel after we complained.
