How to actually box - KimS - 07-13-2018 Hello everyone,
So I am currently SE'ing an inMusic company which provides musical instruments and speakers. So I have SE'ed a few times before in my life but this one in particular. I've been trying for about a month and it came to a conclusion that I have no other decision then to actually ship the item. But for me, I don't actually have the item so my only option is to box. So, I have zero experience of boxing and kind of afraid. I used my real address but not a real phone number nor a name. I've done a few research of how to box and they said "Dry Ice" would be a nice decision but a local shop does not sell it. So I'm basically asking you guys to help me box this company. All the help will be appreciated and I will someday become handy for you. Thank you. ~ Kim RE: How to actually box - zorrophreak - 07-14-2018 A lot of people suggest old phone books or random things like rocks. The thing to do is get to a similar weight of the product you're supposedly shipping back, tape it up. Then beat the shit out of the box then tape it up with a new, different tape. Looks like someone broke in, stole your stuff, and put some rocks in there. The reason we use dry ice is that on initial scan it comes up as the correct weight but by the time they receive the package its an empty box, or at the very least its a box with a bag inside. If you have a walmart or anything I know they used to sell it, and a lot of supermarkets will. Thank you very much. I will consider your saying. RE: How to actually box - DragonicRek - 07-14-2018 Yup, the point of boxing is to make it seem that someone broke into the package |
