Company BS information//amazon//paypal - Qlova - 07-12-2018 When speaking to one of the amazon reps on the phone he took great pleasure in explaining to me the process they go through when a parcel goes missing, or when the item isn't in the box. This will be useful for beginners, or people who have their deliveries investigated. He told me that they weigh packages at each stage of delivery and that this has been introduced specifically to cut down on people refunding - I know this doesn't mean a thing though, because I've had weights printed on large speakers I've ordered before and I instantly get the refund. He also said that parcels are now being x rayed... This is either complete BS or they employ blind workers to do this job, because it does not affect your outcome. If you get told this, don't worry, as it isn't happening. It does show that they have no real process of identifying lost parcels though, but be careful if doing multiple because they could take action whenever they feel like it, like if you piss off an advisor he could just decide to blacklist you. Its the same with most companies, PayPal for example - if a company does not respond to disputes against them, PayPal will eventually realise you are exploiting their system and will make some BS up like the company has contacted them back with delivery evidence (even if there was none) & if you ask to see it, they state its confidential. I'll try to answer any specific questions people have as this is only a short thread because I don't have much time RE: Company BS information//amazon//paypal - izzy - 07-12-2018 (07-12-2018, 05:43 PM)Qlova Wrote: When speaking to one of the amazon reps on the phone he took great pleasure in explaining to me the process they go through when a parcel goes missing, or when the item isn't in the box. I can ring again and draw more information out of them if people are interested. RE: Company BS information//amazon//paypal - izzy - 07-12-2018 I didn't, but this would be good to find out. Solid information right there! RE: Company BS information//amazon//paypal - Vultra - 07-16-2018 Just from reading a bit, i'm amused at what bullshit has been said. RE: Company BS information//amazon//paypal - mothered - 07-16-2018 This Is an Indirect admission of guilt, that clearly reveals their "supposed" Intentions with their subsequent nonsense.
