Western Digital SSD SE - Final Step Help - skrtja - 07-12-2018

I'm at the final step of a western digital SE. I convinced them that I can't send the drive back because of health records. They are asking me for a data recovery acknowledgment receipt. I have no clue what he's talking about. If anyone has experience with this please let me know, I'm lost.

I'm personally lost on what they want. Good luck dude.
Also, the image doesn't work.

Judging by what's written, I assume you've claimed a refund/replacement on the grounds of an non-functional drive, hence loss of data. Would this be correct?

Yes. I already sent him an e-mail from the "recovery center" confirming it will be destroyed as he asked. Now he wants an acknowledgment. I tried finding out what it means in terms of IT but I have no clue. I even asked my friend who is currently majoring in cybersecurity and he has no clue lol. Wonder if they just want a receipt from the company.

Would it be something like showing the drives health or something? Doing diagnostic tests?

I thought as much.

What they're requesting Is a "Data Recovery Certificate" (or some variant of similarity) from the company who performed the recovery on the drive. Simply put, they're asking you to take the SSD to a company for data recovery, obtain the said certificate on completion and send It to WD.
