I just downloaded this and am unsure of the quality of this antivirus.
What do you think of this program?
Is it effective?

CCleaner isn't an antivirus software. It's a utility to clean out junk on your computer.
Personally, I like it.

Most tools of this nature are overrated and not needed.
I haven't optimized my systems with any software In years, and they're still running at their peak.

I have tried "CCleaner" in the past, and I personally find it useless. Are you using CCleaner because you actually need it, or are you just using it for your mental well-being of your hard drive being clean?

CCleaner isn't an antivirus for one, it basically just does a computer clean up for you to make it run faster. It does not protect you. As for my opinions on it as a program I think it's fairly overrated but for someone who would like to clean out their computer without having much computer knowledge I could see it being useful.

I love CCleaner. It is able to delete the windows 10 apps, enable and disable startups, clean all web browers.
personally, I love the program. The IT store I worked at used it. heavily recommended.

I sort of find it used full :/ I find its only good for PC's that already have a bunch of junk apps installed.

Mainly Win 10 since, it's the main OS. Win 7 is clean as hell. Reason why I love it.

I've never needed to use this, so I don't know what to say personally. But I think I've heard a few good things about it.

CCcleaner was in the past infected with malware. Microsoft stated not to use CCcleaner as it could mess up the registry.... so I would not normally use it.
I doubt piriform can be trusted. I would only use it in a temporal Os in case there is no other way to try to improve the performance of the machine. ( I agree using CCcleaner can help to improve the perfomance of Windows Oses)
