SE'ing SteelSeries using RMA - Thanu - 04-12-2018

Hey guys, I used to SE steelseries through their RMA for £300 codes to use on their website. But after things got tougher, I stopped. However recently, I have used one of the products that I got to SE steelseries again and managed to get the £300 code again. However when I tried it a second time using a less expensive product that I have (Arctis 5) the RMA was approved by Randall B at first and then when he told me to ship the product to their warehouse, I sent a message back saying that I have and it should be there in a few days. He then replies with thanks for the update and then declines the RMA? Does anyone know why this has happened and does anyone know how to SE steelseries still. Thanks in advance!

On what grounds was It declined? Did you question It?

The next course of action Is based on their response.

I have questioned why they declined it, I've even sent them more proof such as the serial number of the headset, just waiting for a response now.

The moment they reply, please post their response (verbatim) word for word.

So far they have just completely ignored it, I did a separate one today, said that the headband of the headset was snapped when it arrived (that's how I got a code last year) and then for some reason he replied today saying that I need to give the firmware of the SteelSeries engine even though that is completely unnecessary? Also the fact that he replied to this today shows that he has ignored the previous one...not sure why but hmmm

Stop doing SteelSeries, it is just one guy checking them and not many people do RMA’s so he figured out

SEing a subsequent Item (In close timing) prior to the Initial one being attended to, Is not such a good Idea.

If It's the same representative handling both, you may come across Issues.

Hey guys, I got an update for the latest one I tried using the RMA process. I have said that I ordered the Siberia 840 and when it arrived, the headband was broken. I was then asked for my steelseries firmware but I said I did not have anything of the sort as the brand new headset was broken. I then received this email:

Sorry for the confusion.

Let's get you started on the RMA/warranty approval process!
We'd be happy to proceed from here and transfer your ticket to an RMA specialist! However, to gain an approval for the RMA, we'll need you to reply and attach a digital copy of your receipt showing the date, location, retailer, and product(s) purchased to this ticket.

Please take the following steps with your next reply so we can ensure that you're approved:

Check your Manufacturer Warranty eligibility. 1-2 years depending on your region.
Attach a valid receipt from an authorized re-seller. External links are not allowed. Attach the file in your ticket please!
If you are taking a screenshot of an electronic receipt, we will need to see a full screenshot with the complete URL including the "http" address and the current date on your taskbar. Please avoid removing any elements or cropping this screenshot. Cropping or removal of elements will result in a declined RMA. We cannot accept mobile screenshots at this time.

If you have any questions about the RMA process and how it works, please visit these links: Warranty Coverage and What's an RMA?

Thanks for working with us and for being a loyal SteelSeries customer. We're looking forward to your reply!

Regards,

I was wondering how I should go about this seeming as I have a receipt for it, but I do not have a URL to go with it? If someone could help out with this that would be great!

YOu have the receipt for it? So you just have to attached it to your ticket, you can do it normally buddy Smile

RE: SE'ing SteelSeries using RMA - Thanu - 04-20-2018

I have generated my own receipt, but they are asking for a URL to go with the receipt, which is the main problem, I just need to know how to make a URL that will go with the receipt.
