Google's FOSS VPN - Outline - JzJad - 04-04-2018

So if you have not heard yet, Google/Alphabet came out with there own Open Source VPN server & client.
Aimed for ease of deployment as well as privacy in places with open wifi.

Clients: Android, Windows, Chrome OS, IOS, Mac OS.

Automated deployment to Digital Ocean and other major VPS vendors works well no issues as of yet, I'm sure you can deploy it locally but you will have to port forward before hand, as when it installs it will check and fail saying host firewall blocking inbound connections. Did not bother to look for the ports and actually try.

Seems pretty interesting to be honest, also great that it's open source. Will be checking this out shortly. Also nice that it'll be available on multiple clients. Thanks for sharing this.

I haven't come across this during my travels on the net.

It's certainly worth checking out, particularly as Bish0pQ mentioned, on multiple clients.
Appreciated.
