Hey Vsauce, Michael here - Foxbat - 03-14-2018

Hey. I'm interested in cybersec and hopped around forums a bit a few years ago until imageboards and social media took over; but i saw this one and it looks pretty comfy. Nice to see it also caters to the chinese cartoon enthusiasts such as myself and isin't just pajeets spreading their infected leaks; there's actual quality content. Glad i found it.

Thanks guys; rules seem pretty chill. I'm not super hackerman but i've got some reasonably interesting things; i guess. I'm only really good with python; C/C++ is a thing i've been trying to get into since everything exciting is written in that.

Welcome to SL! Your intro gave me a few giggles.
I'm very pleased to hear you like what you see of SL (we try Wink)

Feel free to message myself or other staff if you have any questions or concerns.

Learn C before C++, keep in mind that OO is overused and bad, and learn Go.
The best way to learn a language is to do a decently sized project in it, read some example code and start writing, you'll get the hang of it. C is an easy one, consult man pages and Google if you get stuck.

Welcome to SL! Cybersec is fun stuff and so is this forum.

Nope, just a bunch of people wanting help to scam Amazon lmao

On a less comedic note, read the rules and if you need any help PM me, or a mod, that always works.

I'll see you around.

Noted, Noted, and that was how I ended up learning Python back a few years ago. I might go back and do this again since I've forgotten almost everything.
