Amazon GPU Return - marauder9 - 03-09-2018
How likely am I to succeed in ordering a GPU on Amazon and saying the one in the box is incorrect? The GPU I want to order looks exactly like the one I have now, just an older model. Should I say the box appeared to be opened previously? Should I do none of the above and return the product lile normal but put the old GPU in the box? I have a multi year long prime account with hundreds of orders and never any major disputes.

did you have to sign for the package? If not you can say the package never arrived. If you did sign for it then say the box was empty and you should be good to go.

I haven't ordered yet. I'd rather not go the "I didn't receive it" route because I've seen them ask for police reports before. Could I just say the GPU in the box isn't the one advertised on the outside of my box and return that?

I haven't ordered yet. I'd rather not go the "I didn't receive it" route because I've seen them ask for police reports before. Could I just say the GPU in the box isn't the one advertised on the outside of my box and return that?
you could do that, but if it is an old account with legit purchases there is like a 0.1% chance they will ask for a police report. At the end of the day it is up to you.

they will ask if you want a refund or a replacement, If you do a replacement then you get two for the price of one. If you do refund you can chose for it to go to your payment method (cc) or gift balance.

PS : Some times they might tell you your refund can only go back to your original mode of payment.
GPU' can be done, just depends on your situation and circumstances

He/she hasn't been active since the thread's creation date, which Is over 2 months.
