iGreed 2 - Released - phyrrus9 - 02-17-2018 So, app review went pretty smoothly, and I've released it to the app store. For those of you who have an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad running anything newer than 9.0 (current version is 11.2, so that should cover everybody) you can download it at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/igreed-2/id1348595108?mt=8 For those of you who don't have an iOS device, but would still like to play, the source code is at https://github.com/phyrrus9/iGreed2 You can either play it using the iOS simulator, or you can migrate the UI to some other OS (it's written in Objective-C, so it's pretty cross platform). Props if someone wants to make an Android port RE: iGreed 2 - Released - Oni - 02-17-2018 Nice. I've played Greed before.

I thought it was a fun and stimulating game, but it was a shame that others couldn't play it because the average user isn't a command line user, so I made a mobile version, seemed like a good idea. This is actually attempt 2. The first one was god awful mainly because that was right when the iPhone 5 was released, and the previous generations simply didn't have the screen space for buttons, and swipe gestures suck ass. RE: iGreed 2 - Released - mothered - 02-17-2018 This Is brilliant. I don't game but without question, a few of my work friends will rip Into this. I don't do much in the way of gaming either, but I've always been a fan of educational games that mask themselves as fun. This one teaches your brain to reward you with both quick thinking and accurate planning. Anything that exercises mental judgment, Is well within my Interest, so I should allocate time for games of this nature. It won't be anytime soon though. As of yesterday, I've just started developing a site In the security capacity, Inclusive of cyber, home, workplace, social engineering (prevention) etc. TLD domain purchased and hosting Is up and running. I decided to pay hosting annually (works out cheaper than monthly), and now the fun part of putting It all together and documenting everything accordingly. Working offline until the finish product. Back on topic, I can't wait until I show iGreed 2 to my friends. They'll be Impressed. I'm not like those corporate devs, I certainly listen to my customer base's suggestions. On an off topic note: please let me know if you're ever in the market for different hosting, my company offers rates below market average and unlimited everything is outrageously cheap (business is designed not to make profit) RE: iGreed 2 - Released - mothered - 02-17-2018 (02-17-2018, 05:37 AM)phyrrus9 Wrote:(02-17-2018, 05:35 AM)mothered Wrote:(02-17-2018, 05:04 AM)phyrrus9 Wrote: but I've always been a fan of educational games that mask themselves as fun. Thanks for the hosting, I appreciate your offer. It sounds very Impressive. Although I've already paid It annually, money Is not a problem. If they don't serve my needs, I'll take you up on It. RE: iGreed 2 - Released - Blink - 02-17-2018 Pretty neat. I'll probably avoid porting this to Android, because Android sucks, but if I do, then I'd likely remake it instead of porting. I'll run it in the iOS simulator later, and try to provide some feedback. (and maybe a pull request if I can find something wrong) RE: iGreed 2 - Released - phyrrus9 - 02-17-2018 (02-17-2018, 08:20 AM)Ender Wrote: Pretty neat.
