Questions regarding using fake Amazon receipts - doa - 02-16-2018

What exactly is a company able to determine when presented with a fake Amazon receipt? As in, can they cross reference their sales with an Amazon order number to tell if it was a legitimate sale?

I'm new to this and my technique for receipts has been to edit the HTML of my actual Amazon orders and updating them with the items I want. All of the generators I've seen have small discrepancies from actual invoices and this seems to me to be the most exact way to forge receipts. Is there any problem with this method that I might run into?

For most companies, Amazon is just one of their many authorised resellers of certain products. Reps usually just skim over it to make sure everything is legit, if they had to verify the order number in every single replacement it would just be a massive waste of their time. In saying that if they do check it will just look like a weird error on their side and will ask you to recheck the order number...in this instance you have failed the SE, you could keep pushing but chances are they will contact amazon.

Not always, but at times It's on a case-by-case basis.

For example, If they're generating a refund against the Item's receipt, they may punch It Into their system to finalize the process. Whereas If a replacement Is Issued, they may simply deem the Item as a write-off and don't bother cross-checking the receipt altogether. There's a lot of variables, hence a definitive answer Is not possible.

How is this best done usually? As I don’t think the Amazon Chat service have the option of uploading a document.
On this basis I imagine you can only do this by email?
