Dumb question but.. - Rednaxela1 - 02-03-2018 How does saying you haven't received something you've signed for work? RE: Dumb question but.. - mothered - 02-03-2018 Simply stated, the empty box method. You've received the package, signed for It and upon opening the box/package a little while later, the Item was missing. Be aware that In most cases, the consignment Is weighed during transit. RE: Dumb question but.. - Rednaxela1 - 02-03-2018 Thanks for the reply. Technically though, they can't prove you've received the item. How do they know it reached your hands inside the package? Regardless of the weight being on there it's your word against their word. RE: Dumb question but.. - mothered - 02-03-2018 (02-03-2018, 06:49 AM)Rednaxela1 Wrote: Thanks for the reply. You're welcome. The only thing In support of their claim, Is the weight of the package. Given It arrived with a capacity consistent with the weight of the Item, In their defense, they have that In their favor. On the other hand, the slogan/motto of "The customer Is always right" can (at times) outweigh the target. RE: Dumb question but.. - Skryptec - 02-03-2018 If you had to sign for the package, you can tell them the box was empty. But ensure that the weight has not been registered anywhere before you do this. If you have a box with 2 items in it, you could always say that x is not in it. |
