Life-size anime character statues are impressive in both size and price. Each one roughly costs two million yen (US$20,000) and at five foot tall, they can't just be tucked away in a closet when space gets tight. That might be why some buyers turn around and try to resell the statues.

Figure collector and photographer Youtsuki wouldn't dream of getting rid of his life-size figures. He already owns at least two. His Twitter account shows that he's made a home for both life-size Megumi Kato from Saekano and Rem from Re:Zero.

These are kept in the collectors own luxury house, which the article questions as the collector claims to be a "regular office worker".

If I had the money and could well and truly afford It without any negative Impact on my financial state, I'd definitely buy a couple.

I know (obviously) they're only Images, but after zooming each one, the quality of workmanship Is remarkable.

I agree! I'd probably stick to some smaller ones that are unique in some way by stance or detailing or materials. Not sure how I'd feel about a life-sized one in my house! Especially when it's worth the same amount as a car!

Jesus that guy needs a "life partner", I bet if they went in his bedroom they would have seen he has a more anatomically correct, life sized, anime girl.
