Anyone ever had this happen to them? I've sent them a lengthy email back and also rang them and they said I can appeal it.

i haven't yet to experience this, however it does seem to be security-related concerns, as so you won't be able to use paypal to send or and withdrew your funds,

Wow, I've had at least a dozen Paypal account closed in the last decade, but I've never gotten that. What the hell were you doing to get that? I am so curious.

That articles just for explaining how to get rid of a temporary limitation, like the one you get when you first open your PayPal before you can send/receice any money.
I've appealed it so all I can do now is cross my fingers and wait.

Basically a lot of disputing of claims and a lot of money being refunded. Eventually they clocked on but I sort of brought it on myself because I opened too many disputes at once.
If I can't get my PayPal back, I'm pretty much screwed forever. I've got money in it too that I can't get to for 180 days unless my appeal gets accepted and all my disputes (even 2 legit ones coming to almost £200) will all be denied.

I've never seen that bc- email before though. It's always been their executive office handing emails like that out. If it's a lower branch, maybe your appeal will go through? Best of luck!
