Amazon Questions Not Frequently Answered (Advise for Beginners) - aWalkingTalkingStephenHawking - 12-28-2017

Any opinions, answers or contributions given would be greatly appreciated.

1. After a product has arrived what is in your opinion the maximum amount of time before asking for a refund or a replacement etc. For example if i ordered packaged food or consumables a month ago and said that i have not opened it until now to fund it is clumpy or has a funny taste etc would they accept that?

2. A follow up from question 1, how long after purchase do you usually wait before attempting to SE.

3. Most people who SE Amazon use the "package did not arrive" method, what is the period of time before you can claim this without them saying "wait a few more days etc" - Do they bother with that?

4. Amazon Receipts - I am unclear what role they play as it is my understanding that once you tell them your package did't arrive they will eventually send you a replacement. - ~To summarise this question, when is a receipt required.

If any other Newbies or Beginners have any other questions or things they're unsure about just ask and im sure someone may be able to help you also.

1. I've heard of people doing it as far back as a year, but definitely not for something like food. If the label said it hadn't expired in that month than they probably would accept it and just refund you.

2. Generally, a day is good, but I tend to wait for 2 if I'm patient enough. Usually, reps try and ask you to wait a day and ask around but you could always speed this up by saying you've already talked to both neighbors and all the people in your house and it hasn't arrived. Still, I would generally wait a day.

3. From my experience, no

4. Not really qualified to answer this

Hope this helped a bit.
