How can I get a new IP? - normie11 - 12-21-2017

I was using my mobile hotspot as a way to anonymize myself when refunding, along with a VM. I ran out of data now, and I am wondering how I can get a new IP that can be changed, and can't be detected. Most paid VPNs are detectable, but even if they aren't, others may have accounts from those IPs that can link me. Should I just use a VPN anyway?

Just use mobile data via USB(Tethering). It's faster and 'secure' than a mobile hotspot. I use Easy Tether Pro which is like $10 in the play store. Keep in mind that when you browse while using mobile data on a computer, it's best to 'spoof' your computer's web browser (or VM web browser) (example: Firefox) user agent to a Linux user agent that way you won't get into trouble with your mobile carrier. If your computer or VM already has Linux, no need. I run a DNS changer on my phone and set it to OpenDNS. On Windows, I run PeerBlock and DNSCrypt.

Before you try Easy Tether, install the trial to ensure it works on your phone. If not, try PDANet+ and of course as a trial before purchasing full.

Thanks for the tips. I ran out of mobile data for this month though, that isn't an option until the billing cycle ends.

You don't have unlimited data? Well, before you're data plan resets after payment you should restrict specific apps from having internet access in the background to save data. If your device is rooted, remove bloats and do so carefully.

If you use the YouTube app, don't use it since it consumes a ton of data. I prefer to disable it. Use the Firefox browser instead and 'spoof' the user agent to a tablet so you can play YouTube videos in the background. I have a thread on here that shows how to do that so if you are interested, here:

Have you tried to simply connect to the Tor network? There's 3 relays before It reaches the exit node, destination server.

Alternatively, you can setup "proxy chaining" which does just that- chains/links two or more proxies to reach the website you're after. Without documenting a complete tutorial (I don't the time), this Is the basics of proxy chaining:

End user -----> Proxy A -----> Proxy B -----> Proxy C -----> Proxy D -----> Proxy E -----> Destination Website.

Basically, there's no limit as to how many proxies you can use but the more you link, the more susceptible It Is to failure. In other words, If "one" proxy Is not working within the chain, the entire chain will not function. So It's Imperative for each proxy to be fully functional.
The moral to this Is, It's highly unlikely another user will have the exact same chain as yours.

Something I noticed with Amazon specifically is that they lock your account if you change IP addresses rapidly, making you go through AVS. TOR cycles your IP every 15 seconds afaik.

Proxy chaining outside of Tor is a good idea, I'll have to try that

Given It's not mentioned (Amazon) In your opening post, I wasn't aware of your need for a new IP.

Tor provides a new circuit with almost every new session, so that probably won't suit you needs. Depending on the proxies, unless you decide to change It, proxy chaining remains the same.

thanks will definitely use it !

Tor is not really amazon friendly , most of the for exit nodes are black listed IP Addy's. Nix tor as a viable solution.
I would highly suggest a residential RDP as the most optimal solution can be pricey but these IP addresses are much faster than data center VPNs or RDP/VPS and they are authentic as it gets. Unless your running a pretty big op and making good money this is probably a bit overkill .
I would just use a socks5 proxy on top of a vpn. Google: se proxy soft / socks escort. They provide a client and very affordable rates based on how many proxies you are going to be using per cycle. That or cheapwindowsvps.com has windows 10 vps' with vnc or rdp connections for like 7 bucks a month.
