Some Simple Amazon Methods - Sultaan - 12-17-2017 I have a method I've used from time to time, this will definately work with ANYTHING that has a rechargeable battery. It does manipulate their TOS. From countless refunds hsing this method. I can confirm there's a very lenient option in the TOS when it comes to Health & Safety Let's say you buy a shaver or a rechareable item like a smart watch, you can also complain about the plug. You just have to make it sound like the battery is faukty and could've hurt you or your family I usually just say : I purchased <ORDER NUMBER> and have had a terrible experience with it. I am not very happy about this and want something done. (If you stay angry, but not too angry, they'll rule in your favour) Then say. I was using <ITEM NAME> and during use, I felt the battery hover getting very hot, around the section where the battery is. located. It got really got to a point I had to drop it. I quickly disposed of it correctly in order to protect my family as I have 2 toddlers and a wife. I could not let the item be a threat to their health (The trick is implementing the word 'health' or 'for my safety', It appeals to the more ) They might say who asled you to dispose, you shoulden't dispose unless someone at Amazon asled you to, (You should now respond angrily, making them feel sprry for what they said Why would I keep a potentially dangerous and explosive device around in the house with my 2 kids until someone at Amazon decides for me to dispose it. I have disposed it out of safety for my family They might ask you a few more simple questions, you can make it more believable by saying something like. I charged it using correct charger. I kept it in the right temperatures, however I don't know whats wrong. If they do ask for a picture (sometimes they do, even after you say its disposed of) jjust say its disposed and I wasen't looking to take a picture at the time of the incident, just looking to protect my family They might ask you again, has anyone been hurt This is crucial, you DON'T want to say yeah I was burned really badly, because they'll open an investigation over the item, then you'll be included within a investigation, and they'll use you as a witness as to why the item is dangerous. You need to say that the item only caused you a burn, but nothing major. They get relieved if you say I just want something done, accidents do happen, and could you please just do something about it. They'll offer your a refund or a replacement, choose amd your done. If done right. Its a win-win situation Hope you guys enjoyed, wuite an unsaturated methods, have done it many times, if you need ANY help, don't hesitate to ask. Im here to help RE: Some Simple Amazon Methods - Pro_SE - 12-17-2017 thanks for the share. One question, will it work for any priced item? Edit: I agree with @mothered, I have seen something similar as well RE: Some Simple Amazon Methods - mothered - 12-17-2017 I don't recall where, but I've read something very similar to this a while back. Electrical goods and food Items are the easiest to SE, they're both related to health & safety, hence the last thing the seller needs Is litigation by the consumer. I joined this forum a few days ago, however. It does work. Its easy and not that easy to patch by Amazon. I have done it to a Hubsan drone before which was retailed at £100 (UK) so maybe around 140$. Not sure if it could work on anything higher. I have not tried, would be great if somecould could let me know. I've done it with loads of things, not high priced. RE: Some Simple Amazon Methods - azux14 - 12-22-2017 thanks bro ! will definitely help as im only starting amazon
