Rca has a nice little 10 inch tablet for 59 dollars I have one just to watch movies on.

The Amazon Kindle Fire tablets are a good choice, they're pretty durable. However, they don't come with the Google Play store (they use Amazon's store).
However, there's a ton of options streaming out of China, so you can pick up any one on Banggood or Gearbest for cheap. Make sure the specs are alright though, nobody wants an android device with 512kb of RAM.

I use the Amazon Fire 7 and it works great. Like Ender said though, it doesn't use the Play Store so it's a bit different.

Thanks for your opinions sorry about the late response lol. I'm still stuck on which one to get him.. I'm honestly leaning towards a Samsung.. he knows how to use Google play store and his way around it. He's only 5. But extremely smart and tech savvy for his age haha. I just need something that will run Roblox and Minecraft without lagging.. the lag pisses him off to the point where he's already smashed 7-8 tablets hell I lost count.. wasn't gunna get him another but fuck it , it's Christmas and he's just a kid.
