Amazon refund trick - Fleet - 10-13-2017

Anyone know about the trick where people cancel the order, and yet the item is shipped to them? And could give a general idea on how it works.

I've seen "pro" refunder's talk about this.

They'll just tell you the item was not cancelled in time. Last time I genuinely tried to cancel something I no longer wanted, I got:
We weren't able to cancel the following item(s) from your order:

(Item)

When you receive your order, you're welcome to refuse the package. You can also return any unwanted item(s) by visiting www.amazon.ca/returns.

As a reminder, you'll only be charged for items that are shipped. You won't be charged for any items that are cancelled from an order.

We hope to see you again soon.

Sincerely,

Customer Service

I have heard of this in the past. However I have never actually seen it done successfully. I would assume it is up to luck and negligence on the Amazon rep's part.

It isn't likely you will succeed or find it.

(Hell it could just be an inside joke)

Unless there's a communication breakdown with the carrier or the "timing" of when the order was cancelled to that of the Item In transit, to my knowledge, I've yet to see this successfully performed.
