PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds - Jordax - 09-27-2017

PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds, Is it worth the buy?

RE: PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds - Pikami - 09-27-2017

At this stage - no.
It's fun but unpolished, it has lots of bugs and still at early stages.

I'll go for a yes too, is the best online game at this moment, indeed, he has a lot of bugs but is very fun to play, the gameplay is awesome, because you are always in a hurry and don't know where the enemy could be, very balanced, a beginner have also chances to compete with the more experienced guys, the map is quite big and with the fact you choose where to drop makes more fun and let's you take the decision on how want to operate.
You can try Last man standing on Steam, is free and has similar rules of play. If you will like that gameplay, than you will love PUBG.

Does it involve anything complex or does it have a big learning curve?

If $30 isn't a lot to you, it's worth it. Fun game.

I got it for free, so take my opinion with a pinch of salt.

I do think the game is worth it, though. While there are bugs, I have seen bugs maybe twice in the several months I've played. They're updating with new weather types for the map, and I've heard rumours of new maps coming soon. So far, the game is very playable, with few issues even when they release updates. I can think of other games I paid for in early access which had and still have significant problems. This is also a game that A LOT of people are playing. I'm sure it would be easy to get an SL squad going Wink

As previously stated, it's unpolished. Regardless how good of a PC you have; It'll still lag. The game has annoying network spurts which can get you dead instantly. Check some reviews on it beforehand.
