Is Walmart still refundable for items over 250? - rationalized - 08-13-2017

Hello everyone. I've came from several different sites and was on this site from months ago. Had quite a few post, but forgot my username. I had my username stored on my hard drive in my computer, which the harddrive went corrupt.

Anyway, me and my friends took this bike. Guy found out and told us to buy him a new one or police will be contacted. The bicycles price is 303.99 on Walmart. I ordered it yesterday. I did some research and haven't found any resources to answer my question besides sources from 2013.

I sent it directly to the guys address, under his name. It was also a fresh brand new Walmart account I had ordered it under.

I am very good at social engineering itself when it comes to warranty exploitation, but I have never conducted a refund besides on Amazon. I could think of quite a few excuses but that'll result me to return it. Is it possible to refund it, without a police report? Will the 'it never arrived' excuse still work nowadays?

And I would really love if you don't recommend me your service. I seriously cannot afford one financially as I have to pay bills for my car and insurance and gas.

thanks

Stated that as in the terms of warranty exploitation, but you do have a point. I have my own definition and forget the original term sometimes. Refunding-term-wise I do not do refunds, at all.

What would be a good excuse to refund it? If it is not signed I'll obviously say it's not on the porch.

Just say it didn't get to you. You can do this with most companies.

This doesn't make any god damn sense.

You bought the same bike you stole and sent it to the guys address. Now you want to return the one you stole to walmart? What?

The best bet would be to return the bike you stole to walmart and return without a receipt. Because it's a big purchase, they will run your ID.

Return the bike you bought, and give the guy his bike back. Walmart has a very smart system for returns and odds are if you're trying to SE some money it wont work or you'll be stuck with a walmart gift card. Your ID might also be stored with the registration of the gift card.

Not going to work / 10 OP.

It really all depends on the Walmart, sometimes staff just don't give any fucks, sometimes they won't take a return even if it is valid. Why you bothered letting someone blackmail you I will never understand but get creative and think out what you want to say and you should be able to get the money back.

I would have laughed at the guy, probably punched him in the cock sucker for threatening me and rode off on his bike...
Never let no one extort you man worse thing that happens is you drop the bike off else where, paint the fucking thing a different color, grind off serial numbers and tell the cops you have no idea what this assholes talking about.
