There's speculation of this for a little while now.

It doesn't stop anyone from dual-booting on the Linux platform and downloading torrents thereafter.

That's amusing, since Kodi is a "trusted" app on the windows store

Or you know....just manually edit the hosts file...since that's likely how they would block it anyways...

I'm watching Microsoft slowly kill off their Windows users. It's kinda like watching Apple fuck up all their hardware.

Eh, more for MacOS, Linux distros, and BSD forks.

I predict that Ubuntu will have a rough time soon, but that's just my personal thought...

@ender currently everyone is shitting on Linux Mint, Ubuntu, I think, has had it's time in the stockades. Seems like everyone gets a rotation of getting shit on. I'm guessing CentOS or Debian will be next with some kind of breaking feature or something of the like.

Odds are Windows will fuck up this blocking thing too either through some new method that breaks other stuff or via the old ways of HOSTS file. I'm not really sweating it tbh.

@DarkMuse I was before the reddit wave, and we have plenty of reasons to dislike it.

Also, Windows is constantly shit on.

EDIT:
Wait a minute...
Kodi isn't illegal...

I don't care if I have to pirate Windows 7, it's still going to be a thing whether they like it or not
