So on one hand, it is the UK, and they bust people for saying the word "jew" with any offensive context no matter how lightly online. On the other hand, it is still scary that they're starting to do this. Good example of why not to do refund scams.

Fraudulent activity Isn't taken lightly by any means of the law. It Is a criminal and punishable offense.
If wasn't a question of "If" but "when" they got caught.
