Experienced SE's help with refund scam - jdog123898 - 07-24-2017

im just getting started with the world of social engineering and i was wondering if someone would be able to help me out. In 2 weeks time im going travelling which i need a new rucksack to keep all of my things in, however its money they i dont have as all the rest of my savings will need to be used for spending money. if someone could give some ideas that have previously worked for them or they feel confident would work with nike store or adidas. also has anyone done the refund scam with these retailers before? I am from the UK but im pretty sure all methods would be applicable regardless of location. thanks!

I feel like the story is BS and you just want new shoes.

Just say what you want.

Just starting out, with a short amount of time, I wouldn't recommend doing anything with Adidas or Nike.

Nike is so damn easy to do a partial refund with.
I'll help you through this with a very basic, simple guide.

Basically purchase a few items from Nike.com all at once, so you get multiple items in the same package, just say that your shoes aren't in there... they'll start an investigation and end up refunding you for the shoes.
Or you could buy the same shoes from two different stores, just say for 1 store that you only got the left shoe so you want to return it and for the other store say you only got the right shoe.
You'll basically return 1 left shoe and 1 right shoe to both stores, you end up with 1 pair of shoes and a refund for both, maybe you don't even have to return it and they will just refund you or give you the missing shoe.

Boom, free pair of shoes and refund, 3 pair of shoes or 2 pair of shoes and refund for 1 pair.

While this is true, I don't think he has the time to do that, and I don't think he has the money to do that either.

Well, with a bit of luck, this will only take around 4-5 days. If you want to do the 2 pair of shoes thing, it'll probably cost around 300$ in total, depending on the shoes.

I would've expected it to take a lot longer. I've seen this method on just about every forum and have yet to actually do it...perhaps its time.
