RE: The Most Expensive Phone in the World - mothered - 06-29-2017

The cost Is ridiculous. I can buy 3 Dell (over-priced piece of plastic) Alienware lappies for that price and still have money to spare.

I don't like the non removable battery. In the event the phone freezes and a cold reboot fails, there's hardly any options left.

Not sure if it's worth to invest so much into a phone. As mothered said, you can do way more, and most important, better things, than spending it on a phone.

Feature-wise it doesn't really have a lot more than your average phone, its numbers are just over the roof, but in the end it will still be a phone.

Wondering, what kind of people would actually go for it, since all the "celebs" or rich people usually gun for prestigeous items from prestigeous companies like apple or even samsung.

wtf who would pay so much money for just a PHONE?

for those who didn't understand yet - it's not for the normal rich person. It's for the people that need high security in their communications, transfers, emails and stuff. They purpose a very efficient secure mode where every call, every message, every mail etc is secured.

That is the main reason why people buy it, not because it's expensive or because it has insane specs. it's for the security.

For security Black Phone is a better alternative, for any other reason you can get a 20$ HTC whose specs far outdo this.

Silent Circle makes cheaper phones with the same security.
However, I wouldn't trust either as you can't check the code for backdoors and stuff.

Copperhead OS is probably as secure as you can get with Android. It's open source too.
Check it out here: https://copperhead.co/android/

The Sirin phone is BS. No point in getting it.

Just going to quote this because it's exactly right.

I posted this knowing it was too expensive, I don't need everyone saying its too pricey.
