Cyberpunk in Real Life - Ecks - 05-20-2017

To give @Zajbu's Idea for a Crypto-currency sub-forum some life, I have decided to make a post on the very topic.
Are you interested in BitCoin?
Perhaps you already use a Crypto-currency?
Are you interested in Cyberpunky tech?
If you answered yes to any of these check out OpenDime on NODE

Really fucking neat idea and product. I'm a little confused, however. So prior to popping the chip, what is it capable of? Does it just hold a link to your info? And after you pop, it effectively unloads? I'm a little lost. Could you maybe rephrase?

It becomes a hard wallet after you pop the chip, so you can load all your data onto it then pop the chip and no more data can be loaded onto it.
Essentially the idea is once you load an amount onto it you can pop it and give it to someone or use as a self limiter (ie you only want to spend 100$ at DEF-CON but know you wont be able to resist the ATM's in Vegas)

Gotcha. That's really neat. It's refreshing to see some HQ posts here like this. Kudos!
