Found mysterious website - WH0_4M_1 - 04-06-2017

So i was using my site finder script I made and I found this website,
it has a banner with the word Net-monitor on it, and its all written in a Asian language(I think).

What intrigues me the most is that it logs basic network traffic from some computers in Taiwan, at 30 minute intervals. The traffic is visible within the website itself without any login.

I gathered this information through passive reconnaissance so I have not broken any laws but I am curious to know what the purpose of this website is.

LOL, I am unsure what you mean, I tried dorking the site, nothing came up, I assume it is a private domain, its dns is "nmcore2.nkhc.edu.tw" which implys its a school domain but their is no contact info, and making student internet traffic public does not sound at all ethical.

I dont know what it's for so I will try hacking it, the website is CGI based so shellshock could be possible.  If not then their could be other ways to run arbitrary commands.

The nmap scan did not pick anything up, i may be able to do a more detailed scan with a NSE script I wrote but I think they have the ports pretty locked down.

cool, I study computer science at A level but I would not call myself a pro, most of my experience is in programming, although I have been doing a lot of research in hacking over the past year.

most of my experience is in how to repel girls, although I have been sleeping with a lot of them recently over the past year.
